What is Opus Plasma?
Opus Plasma is a new noninvasive skin resurfacing treatment. The process is similar to a laser treatment but uses Fractional Plasma® technology instead of a laser. It’s fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
What happens during an Opus Plasma appointment?
Before you have the Opus Plasma procedure, we meet with you for an initial consultation. We examine your skin and your medical history and discuss your personal goals for your appearance.
When you come for your procedure, we place cream on the treatment area to numb your skin. You remove all jewelry, as it could spark from exposure to the plasma energy.
We use a handheld device close to your skin that emits the plasma energy. We customize the intensity to achieve a light, medium, or deeper skin resurfacing according to what your skin requires.
Is there any downtime?
There isn’t any downtime, but your skin may be red and irritated for a day or two. You’ll have more radiant, healthy skin without the risks and time involved in plastic surgery.
